Halloween Mantle
I'm going to switch up the Halloween display this week and try to transition it into Christmas. This is a shot of the October mantle. I'm thinking maybe a nice felt leaf garland to keep the fall colors around just a bit longer then switch it up again for winter & finally Christmas. I'll post a pic next week of the update.....the felt garland will give me a project to do while I'm at the trailer this weekend.

Playing with leather...and of course....glass!
I had some fun with a scrap of old leather, some chain, and some of my fused glass cabs last week. The earthy glass goes so well with the leather, along with my other favorite material....copper.

Finally...reactive glass earrings
Not an easy task, since this process just does whatever it feels like doing and not necessarily what I want it to do. They turned out really great, though, not too matchy, matchy but just enough that look like a pair. Out of a batch of 30 cabochons I managed to get 12 pairs of earrings....not too bad for my first attempt.
